If you eat too fast or consume too much of unhealthy foods, you may get suffered from  indigestion or gastric problem. Its symptoms  includes uncomfortable stomach fullness after eating, or you may feel pain or burning in your chest or upper stomach part. Indigestion is not a disease only, but it is a symptom of many gastro-intestinal issues and problems. For example, ulcer, gastritis, or acid reflux. Some people face indigestion problem at some point. However of reaching for over the counter antacids to calm your stomach, one might want to try to control these ailments with herbal remedies at your home.

1. Peppermint Tea:

You should drink this mixture 30-minutes before eating in order to prevent from indigestion. But by drinking of baking soda in large quantity causes side effects for example vomiting, diarrhea, irritability, muscles spams and constipation. For indigestion, once you drink 1 or 2 teaspoons of baking soda solution, don’t drink for at least 2-hours. From responsible sources, adults should not drink more than seven 1 or 2 teaspoons in 24-hours and also no more than three 1 or 2 teaspoons at the age of over 60.

7. Lemon Water:

For this purpose, mix a tablespoon of lemon juice in hot water and drink a few minutes ago before meal. Also lemon water is best source of Vitamin-C, to relieve indigestion.
